This is the easiest way to get your MoonBoard. The kit has everything you need, including laser-cut, powder-coated steel frame, pre-drilled MOON/TRAIN HARD CLIMB HARDER panels, LED System and all the hold sets for the 2016 setup. And because it’s freestanding, you don’t need to build a frame.

The Freestanding MoonBoard is a self-assembly. It requires two people half a day to assemble. During assembly it can be set at either the standard 40-degree angle or at a lesser 25-degree angle.

We know that some people have their freestanding MoonBoard set up outside. If you choose to do this, the control box will need to be completely weather proofed, and as the board is made of marine ply, exposure to wet conditions over time will cause delamination, so we’d advise protecting it from the weather as much as possible to prolong the lifespan.
