MoonBoard App Update – Important Info!

An updated version of the MoonBoard app began rolling out on Monday, 22 June, via a percentage release download.

To ensure the app functions correctly, users will need to fully uninstall the existing app and then perform a clean reinstall. Attempting to update the current live app without uninstalling it first will result in the app not functioning as intended.

This update includes several important bug fixes and system improvements. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these changes, the new version cannot be installed as a standard update over the current live app.

Logbooks and lists are safely stored on our remote servers, so none of this information will be lost during the process. However, please be aware that favourites are stored locally on devices and will not be accessible after reinstalling the app.

Please note that the current live app and its API will continue to be accessible for six weeks after we have reached 100% of downloads of the new app. After this six week period, the old app will no longer be supported, and users who remain on it will be unable to download new problems, switch between board configurations, save lists, or add problems to their logbook.
